I was approached by the owner of C&U to create a new logo for their landscaping company. They previously did not have a logo and were looking for something that they could not only put on business cards, but also use for their trucks, trailers, and other future projects.

Swaziland, Africa 2015

I had the opportunity to create a t-shirt design for my group that was traveling to Africa for a mission trip. I used both illustration and a mixture of hand-lettering and typography to create the design.

Portage Magazine Launch

In my junior year of college, I was the graphic designer for a online literary magazine based out of Carroll University. It was the first issue of the magazine and we wanted a way to market it around school and online. The magazine was for midwest writers, so the poster was inspired by the juxtaposition of big cities like Chicago and Milwaukee to the rural areas around the midwest.

Jingle Jam

I was approached by Crosspoint's Children's Ministry to help design the graphic for their 2015 Jingle Jam services. After sending them several sketches, we ended up choosing a hand-lettered style for the title. After sending it to the creative team, they added the final elements.

Mad Hatter

Created for a class in Illustrator. The class was assigned to create a calligram - a design made of letters. I created the Mad Hatter, with all the words that comprise of the graphic are quotes said by the Mad Hatter in the movies.

This design was created for Church at The Springs in Ocala, Florida. I was approached by the church to create a bulletin insert to promote their new four-year vision for the church. The art direction was for the design to have a "Nike advertisement feel", specifically focusing on high jump.

I was approached by one of the lead teachers at Endeavor who was looking to create a promotional video to share with prospective students and their parents. I approached them with a script to use as a voiceover, while clips of various activities at Endeavor play on screen.

Reading is not lonely

Created as a personal project for a class on Skillshare taught by Mary Kate McDevitt. Our assignment was to hand-letter a quote, title or phrase of our choosing, and this is one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite books: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. The quote is stylized after the cover of the book, specifically focusing on the cover's colors.
In the future, I plan to create bookmarks and posters based on this design.
